If you want to experience the so-called "Morning" coffee culture that even people outside of Aichi Prefecture have been cherishing dearly, this coffee shop is one of the best places to do it.

It's hard to choose a "Morning" coffee shop. I was one of you guys, but my journey may have ended to find a reasonable, tasty place. This place offers their "Morning" coffee meal for 550 yen! Although their coffee isn't the best among all the competitive coffee shops, their food makes it up. I felt that the pour of the coffee was a little poor. It lacked much fragrance and aftertaste, so I think they have room for improvement.

Despite of all the negative comments, I think people should definitely try their menu and see it for themselves! The rye bread was a killer, especially with margarine, red beans, and sugar/cinnamon...

A very nice & cozy Japanese classic style cafe and coffee roastery. Service are good and staffs are really nice. Provide sandwich, light meal and dessert, and selling beans and coffee accessories.

Their coffee style is somewhat between the traditional and specialty approach. Which means you don't get over powering smoky/bitterness from traditional Japanese dark roast, or rather strong fruitiness/sourness in northern European specialty roast that may not be usual to general consumers. Had a Nicaragua hand drip/pour over which is pretty nice and well balanced! Then paired with the red bean paste thick toast (小倉トースト) and they match! awesome! I somehow regretted leaving Nagoya without...

I ordered the Nagoya set, and it was good. However, if I had known I would have to wait over an hour, I wouldn’t have waited and would have gone to another coffee shop instead. There are plenty of coffee shops in Nagoya, so I don’t think it’s worth waiting over an hour. Additionally, I heard they don’t accept reservations, but some people cut in line and walked in immediately. This made me wait longer than I expected. The staff didn’t explain anything about the situation either. Kato Coffee is a great café, but I don’t think it’s worth waiting more...

This small and quaint coffeeshop serves up gourmet coffee at surprisingly affordable prices. What sets Kato apart is the attention to detail - each cup comes with a note explaining the origin and characteristics of the beans used, adding an extra layer of appreciation to the experience. The coffee itself is expertly brewed, with a clear passion for quality and flavor. The cozy atmosphere makes for a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a cuppa.
