Matsuya Coffee — Restaurant in Nagoya

cool coffe house with it's own roasting facility. pretty solid menu with drinks and food. the coffee is decent, what special about this shop is that the owner sets up a little lab inside, he will offer customers to try his own method for pour overs. i got a chance to see him doing the method.

im a barista myself and i do pour over at home prerty much very day. his metod involves a hollow dripper and a lid. he had all science facts behind his theory. if you are lucky, he will show you the tricks himself and make coffee for you at no charge.

来日本五年了。留学时候住在这附近，经常去买豆子。后来快毕业那年装修了，我也因为工作搬走了。装修之后，第一次来店里的时候，因为店员态度让人不适就过了很久没再来。隔了一年，受朋友之托让我帮忙给他买Yirgacheffe，进去看了一下名字，没有找到。就直接问有没有耶加雪菲，大爷接客的态度非常微妙，说：“那是什么，没听过…没有…”一只手搭在货品的纸箱子上，完全没有想接客的样子。但，我怕是我这个词的发音不标准，很客气的道了歉，重新给他看google搜的这个词Yirgacheffe，大爷看了看，还是说没有。我说我的朋友曾经在店里买过。他说，那得是几十年前了。这时候旁边有一个齐刘海戴眼镜的大姐，从远处看着我的手机很没礼貌的说“我们看不懂中国语”。我很客气的说，你仔细看看，这里有英文。她凑过来看也说没有。我说，那有没有相近的推荐呢？大爷很轻蔑的笑了笑说，这怎么能有相近的，呵呵没有。 这时候我真的有点觉得作为一个消费者而不被尊重。而且是第二次。 于是我就打电话跟我朋友确认，这时候レジ台内的两个スタッフ都没再理会我。我走到レジ附近，发现侧面还有一些没看到的豆子种类，然后我赫然发现上面有一格子写着ETHIOPIA YIRGACHEFFE GRADE1 。我用手机拍了张照片，然后又举起手机礼貌的问了一句“没有么？这个不是么？” 她说，“这个有。”...
