Saizeriya Osu 301 — Restaurant in Nagoya

We were shopping at the nearby areas and came by for our lunch as it was past 12pm and the restaurant was full house and we had to take a queue number and was told waiting time would be 30-45mins. So we went out to walk-around and came back later. By then our number had been skipped through since we were not physically present then but the staff was very kind and helped us get a table.

The ambience was nice and bright.

We ordered the grilled chicken set, shrimp and clams spaghetti, the steak, veggie salad, deep fried shrimps, steak burger with sausage. The foods were nicely cooked and yummy, although they didn't come together as some came much later. If topping up for 300yen, there would be free flow of hot and cold beverages which we didn't as we decided to have our drinks at the cafe nearby.

It was good value for money considering the portion and quality.

Service staff were friendly and polite but could speak only little English but we still managed to communicate using the online translation app!

Overall, it was a good lunch as usual at this chain restaurant that we frequent not only in Japan but also in our home...

It’s good, really. It’s basically a cheap and cheerful fast food type place, and it’s easy to get snobby and blacklist it for the much better places all around, but if you find yourself here after a few years away you’ll really enjoy it. Most dishes hover between 200-800 yen and they’re all adequate. There’s some unusual stuff too, like escargot. But for me the highlight is the 600 yen wine decanter. Best way to get cheap drunk....

Fast food quality at a sit down restaurant. If you want something more decent go anywhere else. Only positives are the prices. Cheap prices for cheap food. Service was poorly.
