Just had our first meal in Okinawa with the family! We stumbled upon this fantastic little restaurant in the lively market. The staff there speaks English really well and they use the freshest ingredients. The prices are very reasonable, plus they have alcohol-free beer and the most delicious plum wine! We absolutely loved the uni and squid, and the puffer fish sashimi. We chose to sit outside, but there are only 6 indoor seats if you prefer sitting inside. I loved this cozy place for those reasons:

a) typical ambiente with only 8 seats. You watch the chef doing his sushi and it is marvelous.

b) quality of the fish was excellent! so much variety and yet it always comes down to the fatty tuna which was fantastic! AND: the rice was super! Chef told us it is his secret recipe.

c) the chef himself!!! Very passionate about his sushi and watching you how you like it. And once you warm up with hin and show him your passion about sushi he will start talking with you, giving recommendations and insights about sushi!
