It’s been a great pleasure to dine here. Needless to say I came here without any expectation, yet the head chef had really made an impression on her wealth of knowledge on food.
Whilst the entire dining experience are all positive, from services, ingredients, quality of food & many others, the head chef really took me away with the appetizers. The balance of flavors, saltiness and sweetness to bring out the main ingredient, became one of her signatures throughout the entire dining experience. It took me by surprise for sure and it was the highlight of my night.
The main dishes are astonishing and pretty hard tk pick on. Since this was an open kitchen, I had the chance to peek into how the head chef managed to cook and manage the fillet, and it came out really tender, flavorsome and aromatic.
The choices for wine pairing were also exceptional, and each of them complimented the dishes really well. From champagne, white & to red wines, the complexity of each wine is distinctively different, and embodies various textures for every dishes. The staff has an accreditation in wine and clearly demonstrated his knowledge in his field.
It was difficult to pick on anything since the atmosphere was also pretty chill and relaxed. I would come back again for sure, given the expertise in their fields, as well as the owner’s passion in F&B business.

Read moreI had done 3 dives earlier and was famished. The board in the street listing the menu for the day which I read with Google translate, was so appealing that I wanted to taste everything. I speak no Japanese and terrible french but it was enough. Chef prepared a brilliant delicate salad, exquisite. I ordered a half serving of the soup of the day, rich and delicious. My main was a Magret de canard but I wanted to try the risotto with porcini mushrooms as well. The duck was superb, and would have been enough, fortunately I was hungry enough to do justice to the brilliant flavours of the risotto and still save a morsel of appetite for chef's blue cheesecake served with kumquats and lemon ice. A couple of glasses of red wine with the meal and I left delighted and nearly delirious. This was a mini-vacation to Paris prepared with a distinctive Japanese sensibility. One of my favourite meals ever. My only regret is that I couldn't also try the venison or the couscous. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly...
Read moreAlways looking for tiny little restaurants like this where the food is made in front of you and everything is made fresh. Wife brought me here for our anniversary because she knew we would both enjoy it. It was quiet and intimate and the food was also amazing.
We got 5 assorted cheeses, all amazing, assorted sausages, hamburger steak, and the red wine steak. The owner was kind enough to also give us a signature Kobe steak while we waited.
All the steak and the cheese melted in your mouth. And I am positive that if you’re a wine lover you’ll also enjoy this place but I sadly do not drink. However the steak marinade made with wine was excellent so I imagine the wine...
