We try to make this review as feedback for the owners to fix these failures.
First it’s not easy to find the entrance in the evening when it’s dark. We went on foot and signs are not lit.
Outside the building looks nice, but once inside the acoustics (noise) is loud and annoying.
Concerning the service…Staff is friendly but for a restaurant of this price range one would expect the level of English to be better. We also got rushed through the different courses. Our waitress took even my plate away while I was using my bread to dip the last sauce. While eating dessert , they also brought us the gourmandises. They lack inspiration and are poorly executed. For example, the corn mousse served had been prepared too long in advance, so that there was a little bit of mousse on top of lots of liquid. The wine list is very limited. For example, the only three white wines are a Bergerac, a Sancerre, and a California Chardonnay (Bogle)... and they’re served too cold. But, it’s a captive market, you’re on a beautiful island, so forget about the...
