Loved this place! Wonderful fusion of local flavors, seafood and homemade pasta. I originally wanted more Japanese food, but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the dishes and selection of food there. I enjoyed the various types of pasta even more than anything homemade in Italy because it had more “al dente” bite/texture, probably due to some mixing of ramen noodle techniques. The combination of local flavors, and a good wine, beer and beverage menu that includes local artisan/craft specialties makes it a wonderful place for both comfort food and experiencing a creative fusion of flavors and textures. The dinner I had there was incredible. I had the beef pasta (perfectly al dente), grilled vegetables, seafood stew, foccacia and panna cotta. Everything was tasty and fresh. The atmosphere was very amazing and service was impeccable. The waitress offered to take a photo of me as I was eating alone and even gave me some art installation & musuem recommendations for Teshima Island. Daily breakfast was lovely and was a good mix between a western spread and some japanese options. The only thing that was missing was some iced tea; they provided every other...

I stayed at Episode 1 accommodation just a few steps away from this restaurant. I was so happy to get a reservation because dining alone can be awkward. I need not have worried, the staff are super friendly and so kind. I was made welcome and comfortable. Ordered lovely salad and pasta from the tablet and had beautiful Italian white wine with the meal. It was so good I went back a second night. I warmly recommend this modern, friendly Italian pasta...
