Probably the most underrated dining option in the immediate vicinity! If you walk by too quickly, you may easily miss it. Was looking to avoid the queues from more popular options nearby, when I chanced upon this cosy place. They mainly serve handmade desserts and drinks like coffee & tea, but they also offer lunch bento sets. I got a tasty bento set with beef, salmon, omelette, tuna pasta salad, boiled vegetables, and fresh greens. It came with a small cup of tea too. You probably won't be able to find another option nearby that matches this for value and variety! They even offer little origami souvenirs to customers. Thank you!

We had been looking for something for lunch and found this beautiful place. A very friendly and warm welcome. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was informal. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience in Japan 🙏.

After a very nice walk through Nara park we found this lovely little place round from the temple. Owned by a truly wonderful couple who catered to our every need, and couldn't be any more friendly. The coffee and red bean rice balls are excellent!!

A lovely experience! This small, peaceful cafe has a nice assortment of food offerings. My friend particularly enjoyed the frozen pineapple on a stick for cooling down in the Summer.
