I sit in the gentle warmth and cozy vibes of this lovely combination bakery, cafe, and bookshop. I come to Nara bearing all the tension and stress from bigger city life. I sit by the open window where a gentle breeze wafts in, shattering the stress and sweeping those broken shards away. The music settles around my ears like an old friend. Shelves of books lounge nearby, as if calling out a good-natured challenge, "Have you learned enough Japanese to read us yet?"

The baked goods are different every time I visit. I vividly remember a strawberry bread that took me completely off guard with its subtle, delightful texture. We stumbled across this shop and we had the avocado shrimp toast and the all vegetable toast. The stuff speaks English so we could customise the order as well. They offer a rose tea - absolutely delicious! everything was really good and after reading a few reviews we ordered the cinnamon honey toast as well (again delicious). I think every single dish here is just amazing. We are sad that we discovered this shop on our last day. The stuff is so nice and Friendly and the music is also a vibe. 10/10...

We wanted a filling breakfast before heading out to Nara Park for the day, and Mia’s Bread was the perfect spot! The entire family got bagel sandwiches and we loved them. We enjoyed the honey cinnamon toast so much we ordered another one! The aesthetic and vibe is super cute and very comforting. We also grabbed some scones to-go for the rest of the day!
