I was hungry and wanted to try their tonkotsu ramen as I had tried one in Sacrament CA and was delicious. Well it ruined my ramen experience for the rest of my trip. I got sick 30min after eating this tiny portion that it said was 1/2 ramen. I went to the restroom twice in the plane in less than an hour on my way to Osaka. Not only that, it tasted so salty and was flavorless. I added water to reduce the salt taste as I was hungry. I couldn’t eat proper food for 3 days and this ruined my Osaka food experience. It also ruined my trip experience as I didn’t feel like tasting more ramen after that. I will still eat ramen in the future, but just where I know is good. 京都マルシン餃子&半ラーメン・ご飯セット1080円。博多ラーメンの一天門と京都の中華料理店マルシン飯店がコラボしてるお店。ラーメンは一天門、餃子はマルシン飯店。両方食すことができるセットをいただいたが、結果、微妙。ラーメンは博多ラーメンと言いながら、話風と銘打っており、初めて食べる感じ。利尻昆布から出汁をとっているということで、本当に和風で、博多ラーメン感は一切なし。餃子も、極めて普通の味。なぜか、ご飯だけは美味しかった。 Kyoto Marushin gyoza & half ramen/rice set 1080 yen. This restaurant is a collaboration between Hakata Ramen restaurant Ichitenmon and Kyoto Chinese restaurant Marushin Hanten. The ramen is from Ichitenmon, and the gyoza is from Marushin Hanten. I received a set that allowed me to eat both, but the results were a little disappointing. Although the ramen is called Hakata ramen, it is labeled as kafu, so it feels like it's the first time I've eaten it. The soup stock is made from Rishiri kelp, so it's really Japanese-style, and it doesn't have any Hakata ramen feel to it. The gyoza also tasted very ordinary. For some reason, only the rice was delicious.
