Cafe Restaurant Fujimoto — Restaurant in Nikko

I came here with my family on a rainy day after going to the toshugo shrine. It was warm and cosy with very polite staff and nice vibes. We ordered the house wine, cheese platter, chocolate coffee, and cheesecake. The house wine was generous and delicious, the cheese platter was simple and yummy, and the cheesecake was exquisite. The cheesecake had a light delicate flavour that was complimented by the cream and jam and the light sweet flavour was amazing. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. Although the coffee was a bit bitter for my liking the staff immediately granted me extra milk and sugar and it was very smooth and I could tell it was from a good bean. Although the price was a little bit steep, it was definitely worth it. The polite staff and good food and smooth jazz made the experience incredible. Definitely recommend to anyone...

Amazing service! We were stuck in a downpour after visiting the nearby shrines and noticed Cafe Resturant Fujimoto nearby so we decided to check it out. We were also quite soaked from the rain so we sat outside.

The food and service were amazing, I really liked the spaghetti and my parents had the assorted meats and chicken curry confit set.

The rain was still pouring and there was thunder after our meal. We needed a taxi to head back to Nikko station and the kind waiter helped us call for one.

I can’t believe that we were kept waiting so long for everything in this restaurant. 40 minutes waiting for a table and over an hour waiting for food! I chose “10 selected dishes” in the menu without knowing what they were but I was expecting them to explain the food when they were serving! But, they didn’t! Staff were not nice or welcoming.
