The food was decent but overpriced and it can be a long wait to be seated. The worst part was that they charged us more than the prices listed in the menu and gave us a hard time when we tried to dispute it.. It seemed like they charged us more because we aren’t Japanese (and it was significantly more than just adding a service charge—that part we were happy to pay). Took a queuing ticket and waited roughly 30min to be brought in. The large queueing number screen at the front of the historical building is a bit of a mood killer 😅 However, the interior gravitas is immense and it was exciting being able to dine in such a establishment. Went for the hamburg steak dish which was served with a very rich demi-glace sauce with a side of mashed potatoes mixed with bacon, veggies, and beans. The famous "nirvana" cheesecake we had for dessert was also delicious and...
