HONGŪ CAFE — Restaurant in Nikko

Vibes here were immaculate. You enter past the UNESCO stone sign and up the stairs to the right is this cafe tucked away. You take your shoes off and put on one of their offered slippers and order at the counter or take a seat and press the call button when you're ready to order. Many drink options, I for the iced hazelnut latte and matcha latte both with soy milk because I'm vegan. So grateful when a place offers soy milk, it's my favorite! 世界遺産エリアのパワースポットcafe✨ 最強のパワースポットと言われる日光東照宮の麓にある「本宮cafe」✨✨✨ cafeの奥にも本宮神社があって、良い気とマイナスイオンがたっぷり❤︎

築300年の古民家を改装したcafe内は レトロモダンな感じでとぉーても 落ち着きます✨

今回は日光東照宮を参拝した後でその後も予定があり遅めのlunch＆cafeを軽く

オーダーは 【季節限定 クラムチャウダー 】のセットと マロンラテを♡

クラムチャウダーは金谷ホテルの超厚切り ロイヤルブレッドをくり抜きその中に熱々の 具がゴロゴロ入ったクラムチャウ ダーが❤︎ お味もとぉーてもお野菜、あさり、ベーコンの お出汁が出ていておいしかったです😍 かなりのボリュームです‼︎

あとはマロンラテ✨

今回は星のアート❓が 日によっては可愛いカフェラテにあたる こともあるみたい‼︎

テラス席もあります✨

緑の眺め、いい空気と風を感じられて 季節のいい時期はテラス席もおすすめです♪

今度はゆっくり訪れて ケーキとか甘味も頂いてみたいな♡

Power spot cafe in the world heritage area✨ "Hongu Cafe" at the foot of Nikko Toshogu, which is said to be the strongest power spot ✨✨✨ There is also a Hongu shrine in the back of the cafe, and plenty of good energy and negative ions ❤︎

Inside the cafe, which is a renovated 300-year-old traditional house, Even with a retro-modern feel Calm down ✨

This time, after visiting Nikko Toshogu Shrine, I have plans after that, so I will have a late lunch & cafe lightly.

the order is [Seasonal clam chowder] set and Chestnut latte ♡

Clam chowder is super thick cut from Kanaya Hotel Hollow out the royal bread and fill it with piping hot Clam chowder with lots of ingredients ❤︎ The taste is also of vegetables, clams and bacon. The soup stock was out and it was delicious😍 It is quite a volume! ︎

There is also a terrace seat ✨

You can feel the green view, the fresh air and the breeze. Terrace seats are also recommended during the good season ♪

If you're tired from shrine-hopping and walking about, this is a good rest stop.

For where it is I don't think you could do better. Prices aren't too high and the quality is good enough.

Don't go there for good espresso but it's a nice place to relax with a nice piece of cake or a sandwich. Apart from the machine made espresso, it's great.
