Unkind owner, maybe he's sick of foreigners/tourist which is weird cause they have an English menu displayed outside. He looks annoyed and doesn't want customers. We got in and were asked how many people (we speak Japanese), not so much of a greeting really. It was only me and my friend, there were a few people drinking coffee and a few empty tables. We were initially gestured towards a table but then he suddenly changed his mind and asked us to wait in a waiting area beside the door. Seems like he didn't want us so we just left. The owner was slightly unpleasant when I entered: I greeted him in Japanese but he just blanked me and pointed at a table like he was annoyed. I ordered the pizza toast which is just white bread as thick as 2-3 slices with a couple of basic toppings on top, while the "toasted sandwich" is just lettuce and two slices of ham that were basically untoasted. The coffee's fine, but they're charging a fortune in Japanese prices for a view of the lake like any other tourist spot. There are plenty of other cafes around the area that I'd heartily...

The food was so good. We ordered the pizza toast, sandwich, and coffee with whipped cream. They all tasted delicious. A perfect way to start your day of exploring lake chuzenji if you arrive early and don’t want something heavy for breakfast. The view from inside is amazing as well. I give it 10/10 overall, definitely will come back and eat/hang out...
