I was honestly skeptical when I saw the 4.9 rating—how good could it really be? But after eating here, I totally understand. Everything was absolutely warm ,delicious, and family style.The steamed egg with seafood was especially memorable—so soft and flavorful. I ordered the yuba soba, a specialty from Nikko, and it was incredibly delicious. The soba are handmade by the owner and the lunch set also included sashimi from freshly caught lake fish, which tasted very similar but almost better than salmon. The best thing about this shop where the owners who were extremely welcoming and friendly and explained everything in very good english. An overall great experience. We were searching for a place to eat around the lake and the exposed grilled fish lured us in.
