This is the place to be after visiting Nikko and Lake Chūzenji. You get the best view of the lake, a warm fireplace and beautiful interiors. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection. I personally loved the trout in butter sauce it was perfectly done and delicious. The fish is very fresh and I would drive here just to eat it! Maple restaurant was recommended to me by a Japanese friend. We visited three people and were recommended to try the trout from the lake just outside the restaurant.
