Really good place for Yakiniku. We went here on 25th December, when most of the restaurants were closed for lunch and were lucky to get a seat after waiting for 10-15minutes. The meat cuts were really good. They have a good selection of wagyu from different regions, i would recommenr trying the wagyu sirloin platter with three different types of wagyu. The shiraoi wagyu (this is from Hokkaido) was delicious, almost sweet. The marbling was amazing. The vegetables selection for grilling was also really good. They also have shabu shabu /sukiyaki but we didn’t try that. We also did not want to have genghis khan / lamb here, but it was available. I was honestly apprehensive to go here after seeing the rating on google, but i am so glad that i decided to have lunch here. We had a great experience. It isn’t pricey either, you need to pay this much to get good...

And about the other one, they said "today we are not making this soup". At least they should have tell us which meals can be served etc... Before we choosing. We were really hungry, so we bought 2 teishoku. Miso soup was luke warm, I don't think rise was a new. And didn't give us water or tea. We asked water 2 times! Then finally gave us 2 glass of water... Soooo bad service. Even though...
Read moreRead moreSukiyaki hotpot was just overly sweet and cloying. It is more like a sauce than a soup. We also ordered Shabu Shabu hotpot which was just "hot water" boiled with some vegetables instead of "hot broth". Very unpalatable and appalling compared to other Japanese hotpots that we have eaten elsewhere. 2 hotpots and an additional serving of udon for 6k yen. Would not have come here at all if not for the lack of food choices...
