Quirky little bar with a friendly owner and an interesting beer selection.

Shige wasn't serving hot food that night, but when I told him I was hungry, he helped me order a bowl of Okayama Ramen from a nearby shop -- it was fantastic.

The beers on tap that night: MIROC - slightly hoppy wheat IPA Fukuoka Pale Ale - just a really, really good IPA -- my biggest complaint with craft beers is that they often try to be too much, this one is just right Hokkaido Pale Ale - more hoppy, with a hint of spice (maybe) Yamanashi Peach Ale (didn't try)

Had a great time here! Only four taps but all four were EXCELLENT, which shows a real devotion to sourcing and selecting good craft beer. Owner Shige-san is really friendly, has some pretty good English, and he and his regulars were very accommodating. Would absolutely love to visit again.
