About Food and Menu :

Chojiro is a restaurant that I often come to, almost every time I stay in the Osaka-Uehonmachi area. The food is fresh, delicious, and the price is friendly. Today I tried ordering a lunch set because I wanted to try a set meal. The assorted raw fish was served with various side dishes and appetizers. Everything was perfectly arranged. I ended this meal with an unbelievably delicious meal.

About Atmosphere: The interior decoration of the restaurant is very perfect, up to the standard of general Japanese food. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. Most of the customers are Japanese. The restaurant has an English menu, making it easier for foreigners to order food. The staff of the restaurant are very helpful, language is not a barrier at all.

Of the three sushi places we went to on our trip to Japan (all happened to be conveyor belt sushi) this was the best. Really high quality fish and decent prices. I believe Chojiro is a small chain of sushi restaurants, but regardless, it was very good, so it didn't matter.

Located on the top floor of a shopping mall outside of the main tourist areas of Osaka, this appears to be a more local stop.

We went a bit later in the evening on a Sunday, so they weren't putting as many items on the belt, but that didn't matter because they chef was more than willing to put together any sushi dish we asked for.

For the two of us we ended up paying around 50 yen and that included two beers.

Worth a visit if you are...

At Chojiro sushi restaurant, not only did we have to endure an excruciatingly long wait for a table despite plenty of vacant seats, but the experience was made even worse by the rude and dismissive attitude of the waitstaff. The waiter we encountered seemed completely indifferent to our presence, offering no apologies for the delay and showing no interest in providing any form of customer service. His demeanor was abrasive, and when we politely inquired about the wait time, He responded with impatience and gave no indication of when we might be seated. This combination of slow service and rude behavior from the staff left a sour taste in our mouths and ensured that we will not be returning to Chojiro...
