Click and Clack — Restaurant in Osaka

By far my favorite café in Osaka so far. The menus are all in Japanese so that might be a bit of a scare if you're visiting but I encourage you to go regardless. The vast majority of the drink menu is in Katakana so you might be able to get by with basic reading skills if you're just looking for coffee.

They handed me a food menu that was mostly kanji and one of the people working there was kind enough to sit next to me and run me through the entire menu entry by entry.

I ordered coffee with chocolate cake and it came on a cute little plate with a cute little drawing and I had no idea they'd even do that I was so happy. They were super nice, the place is super quiet, the coffee and cake were good, it's super accessible (just on the corner from Tsuruhashi station) and I genuinely can't...

The portion sizes are huge for the price and everything is delicious - this time we tried the hamburg steak and the patty was soft and juicy, with lots of onion and renkon (maybe?) mixed into the meat. The meal also came with brown rice, salad, a vegetable miso soup, crunchy daikon pickles, spinach with tofu, and some kind of pumpkiny egg thing (not sure...). I just wish they sold...

The place is not that far from the station. It has a very nice vibe to it as well. The staff were nice and the food was good also. We spent about 2 hours there. The only bad thing for us was that they closed down very early at 9pm. Otherwise we would have...
