coucou amande | dacquoise cafe — Restaurant in Osaka

Came across this cafe for a drink break and decided to stop by because I instantly was drawn in by the pretty design of the shop front as well as the sign at the door. The cafe has a lovely menu and display case of sweet treats. The staff were very friendly and polite too. You go upstairs first to choose a spot before going down to order, they bring your order to you as well. The cafe was super cute with aesthetic seating and decoration. pistachio filling of the pistachio berry dacquoise is flavourful, unique, nice texture n goes well with the sandwiching meringue discs which r nt too crispy but still tasty

the cream of the strawberry matcha cake is soft n unlike typical cream which i wont want to have more..the overall taste n texture when i eat the layers together is nice..strawberries r sweet

note each pax have to order min. 1 drink (~600yen+) n...

I came here with a friend. Surprisingly, the desserts we ordered were all good and the drinks were also refreshingly good. It wasnt too sweet and sugary. The staff were very nice and made small talk to us. The interior of the cafe is very minimalist yet elegant. It was a Monday well-spent in this nice cafe.

P.S. Just make sure to bring cash because they dont accept credit card. Or if you have paypay...
