Indian Restaurant Raja & Cafe — Restaurant in Osaka

I usually don't give 5 star reviews, in fact this is probably the second time I've ever done so.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times over the past 4 years but I've never thought of leaving a review until today.

Two things happened which made me want to write a review.

Firstly, I ordered the lunch C set and got a somewhat charred Naan bread. They allow free refills for the Naan bread so I figured that I could just scrap off the black parts and order another one once I'm done. But half way through my meal, the waitress brought over a fresh Naan bread and offered to exchange with the one I'm having. That's great service! Even in Japan you don't often see this nowadays.

Secondly, after the meal, I was trying to get a toothpick but the toothpick dispenser (? No idea what it's called) just wouldn't dispense one for me and the same waitress came over with a new dispenser.

It's these small actions which make the customer appreciate the restaurant and want to come back to support more often.

As for the food, I don't think you can say much about Naan bread. I'm not a gourmet so they taste the same to me but I like the fact that you can order a mango rush (no idea how you spell it in English) for the same price as any other drink, most restaurants charge an...

The restaurant is up a case of stairs. Staff was quite friendly, and the menu has the usual curries and naan. Competitively priced lunch sets, and the portions are quite generous. Very delicious and super filling. The cheese naan lunch set is amazing. It comes with a drink (I got the banana lassi), a salad, a piece of chicken and your choice of curry (I chose butter chicken 👨‍🍳😚👌🏻).
