Such an amazing experience eating at Kodan. Got a reservation there and as usual was served with the highest quality food (and dessert!! The dessert is home made by Tomo-san, it's sooo good). Ken-san is as hospitable as always. He makes everything from scratch and explains the food that he's serving so you're not left wondering. Ken-san also speaks really good English. They have a great selection of liquor available.

こちらもインスタでよく見かけていたお鮨屋さん。 気になってようやく行くことができました。 1か月くらい前で普通に予約がとれました。 店舗は天満橋と豊中とあって、同じ電話番号で 予約をとられているそうです。 メニューはおまかせコースのみ、11,000円。 【アテ】 ・うるいとゲソの味噌和え ・長崎の茹で干しだいこん ・五島列島のクエ ・岩水雲 【握り】 ・明石の鯛 ・明石の針イカ ・明石の皮剥　肝入り ・福島の縞鯵 ・たらの白子の茶碗蒸し ・明石の鰆 ・宮城のまぐろ　赤身 ・宮城のまぐろ　中トロ ・コハダ ・ヒラメの昆布締め ・シラサエビ ・赤貝 ・ひもきゅうまき ・穴子 ・デザート 計18種で11,000円！めちゃくちゃコスパ良いです。 シャリは赤酢。そこまで主張しない感じでした。 ネタも大きめで食べ応えしっかりありました。 カウンター4席とテーブル席が1つの小さなお店ですが 大将と女将さんの温かさが感じられました。 追加でトロたくをお願いしましたが、 ないみたいなのでトロといぶりがっこで ご対応いただきました！これもおいしかったです。 私はお茶1杯で1,2万ほど。 お酒を飲んでも1,5万くらいだと思います！ かなり満足だったので、また行きたいと思います。

As tourists you never know the good spots for sure! But our Japanese friend recommended this place and took us for lunch. The experience is out of this world. You cant beat private dining on a counter whilst a lovely couple prepare sushi! It is one to try if you want to have proper japanese sushi. Although expensive this in the UK would be so much more. Very good...

Lovely omakase experience in a small setting with a very talented and kind staff. Reservations required (call). Cash only. ~16,000 yen per person (not including drinks). All items were very delicious!! The staff speak great English and were very kind to me...
