We just had the best night! If you want a beautiful, one of a kind experience take this cruise!

We booked a night cruise departing at 8:10pm. The trip is 80 minutes and cost us about 80 bucks CAD. Way better that the 20 bucks for 20 mins that the other tour guides are offering.

Pros - only a small amount of people on the boat. On our night, we were the only ones. Yay private boat tour. Pros - You see the river, the Channel, the lock dock, and other cool sights as well as the usually must sees of Dotonbori. Pros - The price. Our trip felt like great value for money. Bonus - you can bring your own drinks on board.

Cons - The departure pier was a little out of the way but Osaka’s amazing subway made the trip there easy and fast Cons - There is one section of the channel that runs under the highway that people might not enjoy but I thought it was really cool to see a normal, not touristy neighborhood.

Overall - This was the highlight of our time in Osaka! Please, please, please book with this company, you...

There are a few companies that do river tours in Temmabashi. I would highly recommend this one if you’re looking for something by more private/into history of the area. The other bigger boats are very noisy/loud and is probably meant for partying. Whereas, this boat is much more relaxing.

This is perfect for couples or a small family because it only fits 8 people. They have breakfast course too for those who are interested. I did the night view course and went all the way past Osaka Castle and as north as Dojima. It is a perfect summer night activity with lovely weather and a cool breeze.

If you are visiting Osaka this is a must! We got to see a very unique view of downtown from the river. Bring your camera for excellent photos. The captain gave a great tour and had wonderful commentary on the city. This was one of the absolute highlights of the trip for me, this was lots of fun. The boat is cozy and inviting, and we met some great fellow boaters, we brought our own Sake, and the captain was fantastic and very friendly.
