It was an exceptional visit. Exceptional, both, in good and bad terms. The atmosphere and food were outstanding. But the service utterly disappointing. Specially in Japan you do not expect such a lethargic service. First the lady attendant started taking our order and then as we were deciding on other dishes, she left. Then a guy came and took our order. But when the starters served, there was double serving of one dish, so instead of 3, we received 4 starters. Upon checking, he explained that we mentioned one dish twice. But would you believe that the same happened with the main course and later it appeared that the lady noted one starter and one main course. And the guy again noted the sane dishes as we thought he is the one taking our order. Further, there was no compensation or apology from their side. Both the attendants were speaking English so no chance of communication error. Even when we paid and left, no one greeted us which was strange in context of...

A cozy French-style casual restaurant located right in the heart of Umeda. They have several branches in the area and we chose the one inside Hankyu Sanbangai since the line was shorter — we got in quickly!

The restaurant has all counter seating and the place was packed with people, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. Despite the crowd, the staff were friendly and efficient — our food came out surprisingly fast.

Everything was reasonably priced. Perfect spot if you’re looking to enjoy a tasty meal or a glass of wine in the afternoon....
