I recently visited this bakery that was recommend to me by a local and was blown away by the quality and experience. I tried a few different breads.
The ham and cheese toast was fantastic— succulent, flavorful, and generous with the right amount of cheese and ham.
But the real star for me was the croissant. It was simply divine. Buttery, incredibly flaky, and with a rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavor that I just can’t stop thinking about. Honestly, it’s one of the best croissants I’ve ever had—pure perfection. I’m coming back just for more.
On the staff’s recommendation, I also tried the strawberry and white chocolate heart-shaped bread. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t my favorite. The exterior was quite hard, the flavor was a bit odd to me. Like I’m not sure I would have been able to guess the flavor if I didn’t already know what it’s supposed to be. There’s a chocolate and orange one right beside it, same heart shape, and that one is much tastier I think!
One unique aspect of this bakery is that they don’t use tongs. Instead, they provide gloves so you can pick and grab your bread yourself.
The bakery also offers a wide selection of breads (baked in house), and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved that the bread in the display cases was warm—I came at a good time haha. They even have an area where you can toast the bread to your liking, which is a great added feature.
They have blankets available if you’d like. Dining in, you must order one drink.
The only minor drawbacks were the glass doors on the bread cases which were a little confusing at first. You don’t have to close it once you open it; it gradually closes itself. And then there’s no English descriptions for the breads so I’d recommend using a translator if you don’t know Japanese.
Overall, this bakery is a must-visit—especially for the croissant. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their...
Read moreWhen it comes to baked goods and breads, this is probably one of the best, if not the best bakery in Osaka. Great selection of items all very flavourful, original and perfectly baked (crunchy flaky pastry, nice bread crust, soft and moist dough). The atmosphere is also a big plus because there is indoor and outdoor seating, the latter being surrounded by a green garden. There are two major improvement points: you have to grab by hand (plastic gloves provided) each baked good instead of using tongs. To me this is not very environmentally friendly and also not the most premium experience. The other improvement point is to extend the coffee options they offer and to be able to serve the drinks in proper mugs and...
