It's a very high quality ramen restaurant, the appearance and taste of the dishes, the interior design of the restaurant, and the customer service of the staff. With less than 20 seats at the counter and tables, and all tables are for two people, it is not suitable for large groups, but it's perfect for those with friends or partners who know each other well. You must purchase a meal ticket in advance from the ticket vending machine at the entrance (electronic money and credit cards are not accepted; cash only). As the name "Chicken" suggests, the restaurant offers a wide variety of chicken-based dishes, especially ramen and tsukemen, which are always topped with steamed chicken. The steamed chicken itself is just the right amount of tenderness, but the seasoning is extremely simple. Instead, it goes well with the ramen broth and sauce. While the noodles are relatively resilient and chewy, small children who do not have fully developed teeth may possibly not be able to bite through them. In addition to the other toppings and the exquisite flavor of the soup, the bowls used are also very particular (they are not fancy bowls by any means), and that alone will give you no shortage of topics to talk about for your meal. Some of the staff were young women, but they were well engaged in cooking and serving the dishes and were very attentive. All in all, I had a...
Read moreIt was my first visit, so I ordered the “Ramen ‘Mugi(wheat) x Tori(chicken)’ lunch set, which was recommended as the basic and first-time option. For the set’s rice bowl, I chose the “Karaage Don (fried chicken rice bowl).”
The frothy chicken broth was incredibly creamy, making me forget I was eating ramen. The straight thin noodles paired perfectly with the soup, and the karaage rice bowl in the set left me fully satisfied.
The “how to eat” instructions were only in Japanese, but I was able to follow them correctly using Google Lens for...
Read moreTop notch chicken broth ramen, super neat restaurant with excellent service. Ramen itself is super fresh, soup broth is thick, has lots of bubbles to lift the whole experience even more special. Meat is done in the slow cooking low temperature method, leave it a juicy, tender texture, unlike the normal chicken chewy flavour. The chef is super lovely, helped us to order the limited edition, and explained the menu well. Highly recommended to anyone who is around and has no clue what to eat- you won’t be regretting...
