1 Pound Steak & Hamburg Takeru Tenma — Restaurant in Osaka

Had dinner here.  Our Idea was to have beef, but less the headaches from grilling yourself or having to communicate too much about the beef with the shop.

1 Pound Restaurant is run quite like a western place.  Menus were simple, food was straightfwd.

Beef came on a hot plate and served with rice, salad and soups.   And these can be refilled, FOC!

Specific dips, sauces and condiments could be had at every table, quite interesting. And these dips were delicious pairing with the food.

Price for the food here is reasonable.  It won't tear your pocket.

Taste of the beef was quite nice.  They will ask you how well you want your beef. We top up our beef with eggs, sausages, ebi tempura.

Staff were primarily young ladies who are more than happy to use the translator app to talk with you. They are nice and efficient and very attentive too.

Ambience at the eatery was nice.  Slightly westernised yet you don't feel MacDonald's.    Great place to eat if you ask me....

Don't be shy to ask for more rice...

It was the best hamburg ever in my life! We had white garlic sauce Hamburg and Hamburg steak. It’s very juicy and all sauce were delicious. You can make a sauce by yourself. I made a No.1 sauce and it went very well with my food. The owner and staff were extremely nice and attentive. We didn’t originally know what to order and then the owner took time to help us find the best options. He then came back after the food was delivered and helped to create a custom sauce for our meal. First thing I realized when I came in was the 'sticky' floor, the shoes seem to 'adhere'...😉 But I don't wanted to eat from the floor anyway. Staff was very friendly and really looked all the time, if there we're questions or even gave tips for best spices and composition👍👍 I ordered the 456gr Steak with some extra dishes and beer. Meat was good, for sure you can expect nothing extraordinary for this price. There are better Steakhouses in Osaka. Beer was perfectly cold👍 All in all I had a good time and was at least not hungry anymore...😉 So a recommendation from my side for this...
