MUSCLE BAR — Restaurant in Osaka

This is a fun place. I (gay man) went here with my husband after getting to know about the bar on YouTube. Immediately after entering the bar, you get greeted by the muscle guys and they assign a table to you and explain the system.

For men, it's 5000Yen plus 25% service fee so 6250Yen for a 90min all you can drink. After these 90 minutes, elongation by 30min will cost you an additional 3000Yen per person. They offer a variety of drinks and cocktails and as soon as your glass is empty, the muscle boys will bring you a new drink.

There is also some "service time" included in the price, where the muscle guys let you play with their muscles. You can also buy some additional services like a "muscle sandwich" where two muscle guys will sandwich hug you from both sides. They have a lot of these fun extra services and we tried quite a lot. You can also invite the muscle boys for a protein drink since they don't drink alcohol during their work.

Even though most customers are girls, gay guys are very welcomed here and the muscle guys are just as flirtatious with you as they would be with the girls. Some of the muscle guys are gay themselves, too.

There were three muscle guys working at the bar that night (a Monday), but depending on the day they have many more staff. We especially enjoyed the nurse muscle guy, he was really sweet.

We both speak Japanese, but some of the muscle guys tried to use English to communicate as well. So as a foreigner who doesn't speak Japanese, you still will have a great time!

The only thing I didn't like was that they don't accept credit card, just cash and PayPay which is a digital pay for iPhone. Both of our phones are Android, so we had to use cash and we didn't bring enough. We ended up spending 30000Yen since we elongated three times.. time passes by fast in that bar haha.

For the base 90m of time, we were easily left unattended for at least 30m+ even though there were enough men to attend to every group, at least.

As others have said, it's true: It smells like a restroom The drinks are watered down The "newer" guys look uncomfortable, and you just feel bad for them because the veterans tell them what to do - make the drinks, and STAY AFTER THEIR SHIFT.

What felt the worst was paying for additional drinks FOR the entertainers, only to have them get swept away to do drinks, and greetings to new patrons. Meanwhile the boss is just massaging one woman for 20m.

I came solo and was the only customer. I'm a gay male so I was unsure of the reaction I'd get. That feeling didn't last long. There were three staff that night and everyone was very friendly and open. I felt incredibly welcomed and immediately comfortable. The all-you-can-drink beverages are actually quite good and strong. Be careful! The staff are shirtless and will flex for you. You are allowed to touch, take photos and videos, without any extra fee. They encourage it! There is also a menu where you can order some other services, such as a "muscle sandwich," which is pretty funny.
