Service: The service is quite pleasant. Upon arrival, you simply inform the staff how many people are in your group, and they’ll guide you to your table. They offer a warm towel and ice water to refresh yourself, which is uncommon for a ramen restaurant. When you’re ready, you can place your order, and payment is made after your meal. They accept cash and card payments, though they no longer allow bill-splitting, which they used to offer.
Cleanliness: The restaurant is very clean and features a live cooking setup, allowing you to watch the ramen being prepared in front of you. The galley is spotless, and the staff work together efficiently, which enhances the dining experience.
Food: My friends and I visited this restaurant unexpectedly without knowing what they offered, but we’re so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious. The ramen noodles are perfectly chewy, the broth is warm and flavorful, and the pork chashu is incredibly tender, melting in your mouth. Please note that this is a non-halal restaurant for Muslim visitors, as most dishes use pork as the primary ingredient.
Overall: Noguchitaru Ramen is my go-to spot every time I visit Osaka. If you’re staying nearby, you should definitely give it a try! They’re open until midnight, which is great for late-night arrivals in the city. Be sure to try their special ramen and rice with pork chashu—it’s the perfect combo you...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic ramen shop located just across from our hotel. Not only is it conveniently situated, but it also stays open until late in the night, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal even after a long day.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was struck by the high-class interior design. The ambiance felt more like a fine dining restaurant than a typical ramen joint. It added an extra touch of elegance to the whole experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the ramen itself. The soup was an absolute delight. Unlike some heavy and oily broths, this one was light and refreshing, with a distinct sweetness that hinted at fresh seafood. It was a flavor profile that truly set it apart from other ramen shops I've visited.
One particular surprise that stood out was the smoked ham. It had a remarkable resemblance to Parma ham, which was unexpected but oh-so-delicious. It added a delightful smoky and savory element to the dish, elevating the overall flavor.
I can confidently say that this ramen shop comes highly recommended. From the upscale ambiance to the flavorful and unique soup, it's a dining experience that shouldn't be missed. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by and indulge in a bowl of their exceptional ramen. You won't be...
Read moreAfter a disappointing experience elsewhere. I turned to this establishment right across from Zentis Hotel. I was skeptical of the shellfish (Taro Special Ramen) broth at first; however, the flavour was such a delightful surprise. It was light, full of taste, effectively refreshing my palate.
The fish cake and mushroom were also pleasant additions to the bowl of ramen as well. Halfway through our meal, I added my perilla oil and it changed the profile of the dish completely - and for the better! Both my partner thorough enjoyed our bowls of ramen and would recommend this restaurant.
The interior design is beautiful and was calm. Service was warm, yet efficient. Would recommend for a classic bowl of ramen or to try a...
