Osaka Ohsho - Shin-Osaka — Restaurant in Osaka

We were in this particular branch last Monday, 5th of May 2025, dinner time.

We sat and tried to the best of our ability ordering from the purely Japanese tablet in our table without inconveniencing anyone. My wife uses Google translate and we usually are able to go through these kinds of systems without a hitch.

However, this time, we couldnt find the beer i wanted to order after a few tries. We then asked the only male server at that time to help us, a young man probably in his 20s, around 5'5, light skinned and very thin.

He looks at my wife, shrugged, pointed at the screen, walked away and chuckled. I was dumbfounded. It was the first time i encountered a waiter who outright refused to help.

I was looking at him thinking what i should do and we catch each others eyes. He just shrugs again and pointed at his lady co workers.

There were 6 of us and every single one of us knew the guy was being rude. It wasn't just my imagination.

The food in this place is great but the overall experience was the worst one i have every experienced in Japan. (I have been travelling since 2014 to Japan; and I have gone 3 consecutive years since 2023.)

Anyway, i pray the management does...

Casual Chinese cuisine restaurant located within the Nissay Shin-Osaka Building. Tried the shrimp friend rice with gyoza, together with some veg. The waiter was very helpful in assisting to order as we didn't read or speak Japanese. Everything was a breeze for Chinese New Year eve...

Dined here few times including takeaway when I was staying nearby. Decent food choices which you can order with staff or using the tablet available at table. They have some store limited items avid depending...
