I didn’t know this was what I needed after a day of exploring Osaka on my first day here. As a non-Japanese speaker I use Google Translate to pick something. Google Translate was not very helpful but said “yes” on one of the Ramen on the kiosk, so that’s the one I ordered. It was a journey. 役1年9ヶ月振りに恋しくなり平日の14時過ぎに突撃致しました。

JR新福島駅3番出口より徒歩3分の場所にあります。

『小僧らーめん（税込1,050円）＋半替玉（税込80円）』いただきました〜！

オーダー後5分で着丼。

具材は炙り豚バラチャーシュー、刻み青葱、玉葱、海苔、味玉。

油類は一切使わず、国産豚骨と水のみで特殊な圧力寸胴でじっくり高温で炊き、骨が粉々になるまで旨みをしぼり切った極めて濃厚なスープは醤油の旨味も感じれ、ドロッとしてこってりしてるけど不思議とくどくなく、豚の甘みも感じれ美味しい･゜ﾟ･:.｡..｡.:･'(ﾟ▽ﾟ)'･:.｡. .｡.:･゜ﾟ･想像以上に濃厚なので本当に「スープは食べ物」的な感覚です（笑）

コシのある中太の平打ちで少し縮れたミネヤ食品工業の特注麺を持ち上げると湯気が凄いW(0)W熱量が伝わり、スープに絡みます。

炙りの入った3日仕込みの低温調理した豚バラチャーシューは脂身も甘くて香ばしく美味しい！ 海苔は風味がしっかりあり、半熟味玉も黄身が濃厚で染み具合抜群で美味しい！玉ねぎはこのドロドロスープにありがたいアクセント♡

あっという間に麺が無くなったので、ダイエット中なので替玉ではなく半替玉をオーダーし、投入していただきます(^_−)−☆ 替玉は極細麺なのでまた違う喉越し食感を堪能できます。

食べ終わってからでも額から汗が出る熱量にビックリ！豚骨には慣れたもののこのドロッとしたのは好みが分かれそうですね。こんな濃厚なのは初めてですが、ペロッと完食でございます。

Wouldn’t recommend if you’re non-Japanese. I understand they’d prefer locals over tourists which is perfectly fine and understandable but if so, put a sign saying Japanese only.

My group and I were constantly given dirty looks, received no help on a fully Japanese menu which you ordered via a Japanese screen.

I went because of google reviews and the food was really nice in fairness, so it wasn’t like I blindly walked into a Japanese place - I was recommended by other Westerners.
