we were excited to visit this restaurant as it has good reviews. but as we (gaijin, foreigners) entered and said we need reservation- i politely waited for our table but we saw a group bigger than our’s come and get seated first. i thought no biggie and we finally got our table but we weren’t greeted with a menu or anything. we realized the group next to us that got seated near the same time was getting the service that we never got, so again i thought its fine maybe its cause we can’t speak japanese that well. i called over a staff member and i explain how we want to order the lemon sour all you drink for 60 minutes but tell me why it took us 3 times IN JAPANESE to say we wanted it, and he’d be like “okay let me go check” and just never come back, yet would help serve other tables.
we were there for maybe only 30-45 minutes, but he came over saying we only had 15 minutes left. at this point, we were fed up and just wanted to get the bill. once we got it, i noticed that they put on an EXTRA CHARGE saying we extended the lemon sour by another 30 minutes. when i asked about it, he just said “oh sorry, it was an accident” and removed it.

Read more90 minutes of all you can drink soda or beer. We went with the soda this time and chose lemon mix to add to it and it tasted exactly like Limoncello! We had an incident where the soda keg ran out and it exploded the last bit of the soda over the table (whoops) but they replaced it right away. Ordering is through iPad, unlimited cabbage with sesame. We had the edamame and Korean pickled vegetable for sides (and rice of course!). We tried several of the beef options, boneless beef short rib with and without green onion salt, spicy pork sausage, beef prime loin and the Wagyu short rib. All of the beef was fantastic quality and reasonably priced! Apologies to the employee for having to translate the drink menu to English to understand what we were choosing. That's 100% our fault for not understanding even basic Japanese. We'll try harder to learn more before we visit...
Read moreI walked into the place when I was just looking for a spot to drink and relax. It advertised 500 yen for 60 minutes of unlimited drinks, but I ended up paying for the glass and ice cubes (not even necessary for beer), and even for the lemon that customers can add to their beer. It almost felt like a scam to advertise it as 500 yen for 60 minutes.
The servers' attitude was much friendlier than in Tokyo, where I visited two different branches. The first time, I didn't enter, and the second time, I didn't find what I was looking for.
I’d say the beef tongue was pretty good without much sauce and salt, which might appeal to some foreigners. However, it’s more of an influencer trend to have super thick beef tongue, and customers still have to cut it in order to cook...
