中国料理 栄志 — Restaurant in Saga

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the world. Yes, world..... I'd like to think of myself as a somewhat Chinese food aficionado and Eiji hits all the right notes. They have a vast menu serving all kinds of meat, seafood, veggies, dim sum, noodle soups, and even some special selections. But for me, they have the best Mapo tofu that I have ever tasted. The sauce is complex, medium spicy, and has a little thickness to it. The tofu itself is silky and combines perfectly with the sauce and the minced meat. Everything blends really well together and goes so well on it's own or with a bowl of rice. It's truly a scoop of heaven with every bite and the aroma and taste keeps me coming back for more every Friday night for a better part of a decade. It's truly a masterpiece. The other dishes that I've tried are also delicious, including the garlic seasonal veggies, scallops with special sauce, and stir fried Wagyu. Their prices are also cheap, with many items being under 900 yen. The service is also top notch, always with a smile and a huge jug of cold water. I can't say enough good things about this place. I hope they never go out...

Really nice Chinese place. Used to be a much smaller location and I'm glad the quality hasn't changed since it moved to the new location. Pretty busy place so it might be advisable to book in advance. Genuine Chinese food from genuine...

佐賀市中央本町、「セントラルパレス」1Fに入店されている中華料理屋です。店内はカウンター席と個室型テーブル席等が豊富に用意されています。飲み屋街の只中なので駐車場はありませんが、店前に有料駐車場があるので、車で来店する際にはそちらを利用する事になるでしょう。さてラーメンですが、今回は昼の定食メニューで「台湾ラーメン」を頂きました。醤油ベースの円やかなスープで、市中に出回る一般的な台湾ラーメンと比べると、唐辛子による辛味が殆どないのが特徴ですね。おかげでスープの旨味が程よく感じられます。麺は中細ストレート麺が使用されています。具は挽き肉、もやし、ニラといったシンプルな構成の一杯です。大盛り対応(おそらく)なし、替え玉制なしとなっています。ラーメンのバリエーションは、昼の定食メニューとして「担々麺」「サンーラー湯麺」があり、夜の一般メニューでは更に数種類用意されているようです。また、その他メニューも中華料理屋としてそれなりに展開されているようですね。因みに今回の定食には「炒飯」と前菜風小鉢3品、それからドリンクが付いて来ます。小洒落たミニコースのような見た目の定食でした。 こちらのお店は、2014年9月に夜専門の中華料理屋として佐賀市大財にてスタートしています。因みに開業したその場所は、既に閉業している中華料理店「新禧亭」が2006年まで営業していた場所で、その店舗正面は2020年5月に惜しまれつつ閉店した名店「長浜ラーメンフレンド」(現在は有料駐車場)といった立地でした。現在の場所には2022年10月に移転されており、客席数も150...
