I'm thankful that the staff here welcomed us on a very busy night in Sapporo when we got turned away from many other bars for not having reservations. As others have mentioned, there is a seating fee that includes a small dish of fried chicken skins (delicious btw).

The bar itself is clean and quiet. The staff here is also nice and welcoming which I appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed having beers at this bar with my friends.

I knock off maybe half a star for the bathroom situation. The bathroom is located outside of the bar down a hallway in the building. Not too bad, but just a little inconvenient. Depending on how I'm feeling, I'd rate this place maybe a 4 to a 4.5 based on overall value, location, and beer selection.

Place has a cover of 380 per person just to sit down even if the place is empty. A pint is 1200 plus tax which is expensive for the area. I would definitely avoid. Many other options around without such rules and better prices and options. We ordered two beers both where out almost left but stuck it out wasn't impressed at all. Atmosphere is quiet and dull.

Ohh worst of all they don't even let you taste or sample. Craft house without sampler plate and won't let customer have a sip to...

Cool place, lots of beer choices. Just be forewarned there is a ¥300 "table charge"(even if you sit at the bar). Not a big deal if your having a long session, but if you just stop in for 1 you can end up paying ¥1000 for a small glass of beer. I guess maybe that's the point of the cover charge, to keep you around a bit, and it seems to be fairly common at cool bars in cool neighborhoods in Japan, still it's better to know about it before hand. ...
