Had a terrible dining experience at this store on New year Eve. All customers were forced to leave the store in the middle of their meal.

I know it's Mcdonald's and we shouldn't expect much and we found out that they had poster stated their closing hour that night was 9pm, but our experience was beyond terrible. The female staff (manager I guess?) was super rude and kept shouting at customers saying they need to close when most of us in the store were still half way through our meal.

I understand that you have different closing time at this special occasion. However, your management and service were totally outrageous. First, you should have reminded all customers that you would be closing at least 10-15 minutes beforehand. Secondly, there were customers who had just got their meal and started eating. Why would you still allow orders of dine-in when you were about to close? Lastly, attitude of the staff was unacceptable. She was rude and was almost like shouting at people. You should have appologized for the inconvenience and ask customers to leave politely instead.

The experience of being forced to leave the restaurant half way through our meal and making us carrying our iced soft drinks out in the heavy snow was absolutely ridiculous. What an interesting...

Visited this McDonald’s location for breakfast and it is a great spot to sit and watch the Sapporo traffic pass by as you eat. It wasn’t very busy when we went (about 8am) and the eating area is quite large, so we were able to get a good seat easily. By the time we left about an hour later it was a little busier but not too bad.

It was a clean and tidy location and we felt comfortable sitting in there for a long period. They had some music playing for ambience which was a nice touch from the usual beeping sounds we get from McDonald’s in Australia!

When you go in you are directly in front of the counter and need to line up and order straight away. There’s not much room to stand there and look at the menu. They also don’t have kiosk ordering here.

The girl at the counter was polite and friendly, and was very patient with our limited Japanese. The menu was in both Japanese and English with photos so it was helpful to be able to point at things! Once you order you wait in the same area to collect your food and then you can take it upstairs to eat. Food was prepared very quickly, but we were the only customers there at the time so perhaps that helped.
