We stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children) for three nights in early July. I want to start by praising the hotel staff first and foremost. Everyone provided excellent service, had a wonderful service mind, and tried their best to be helpful. This was the best and most impressive part of our stay. However, there are several points that future guests, especially those arriving by car, should consider carefully: Location and Parking: While the location is great for exploring the Susukino and Odori areas on foot, it is highly unsuitable for guests with a car. The hotel's own parking is extremely limited and was always full. This forced us to find and pay for nearby private parking, which was an added hassle and expense. If your travel plans involve driving to attractions outside the city center, this location might not be convenient. Cleanliness and Housekeeping: The housekeeping policy is "every other day." For a family with children that generates a fair amount of trash, not having daily service meant that many rooms left bags of trash and used towels outside their doors. As a result, the common hallways often looked messy and were quite unpleasant. The Onsen: This was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The main onsen advertised was closed for renovation. When we went to use the alternative bath at night (around 10:30 PM), we found it was incredibly small. There were nearly 25 naked men packed into a single, small bath. We had to wait in line just to use a shower. Most importantly, no towels are provided in the onsen area. You must bring them from your room, which is highly inconvenient. Room Condition: The room itself had been recently renovated and looked nice and modern. The downside was the functional aspects: the air conditioner was an old model, and the toilet was extremely loud when refilling. It was so loud that it woke our entire family up in the middle of the night. Conclusion: In summary, aside from the wonderful staff, the overall experience did not feel worth the price we paid. I'm not sure if other hotels in the area are like this, but if we were to choose again, we would probably opt for a hotel further outside the city with convenient parking and better management of its common areas, even if it meant an extra 20-30...

$230/night, stayed 5 nights
I will try to keep it short. We checked in but were given different room from what we booked. When I confronted the guy we checked in with, he made this very annoyed face, like we were causing the problem or something. There was not a single word of apology from him. We werent even complaining 'cause we know mistakes can happen, but suck it up if you made a mistake. And while we were changing room, we were handful of our belongings even struggling to hold them. The staff that was showing us to our “actual booked” room, was holding a key card, just a key card, didn't offer to help whatsoever.
The second part about spiteful was, we stayed in a room that equipped with kitchen, but we mostly eat out and never used it. Except one night where my SO made a cup noodle because he was hungry. He accidentally slightly burnt part of the noodle and it sticked to the pot. It’s really nothing, like if we had a cleaning tools we would just clean it right up, but we didn't have any so we left it there. Apparently the cleaning staff didn't like it so they left the pot, along with cups and everything else unclean, with a note saying “because we didn't finish our drink etc, they can't clean them”....the cups were empty... like seriously?
The amenity quality is very low. Even lower than the quality from 100 yen shop. The room and beds as well. The wall is so thin you can hear people talk in the next room. The room also stinks with food and cooking smell that people before you left. If you are not planning to cook I suggest you avoid the rooms. There is a washing machine but it doesnt have heat dry function, only air dry. We made it run like 2-3 times and they still werent dry.
This hotel is very much just a modernized business hotel, absolutely no service that charge you like a typical hotel. Everything feels like they try to keep the lowest possible budgets, and lure you with "nice" selling points like kitchen and public bath... well I got fooled... If you are like me that taking in those points but unsure, I suggest looking for other places. At least they may offer you something of a more price worth, and better experience.
edit: oh and the public bath is filled with chinese tourist so don't expect an...
Read morePro - The location is superb. With the exception of the Sapporo beer museum, everywhere else is within walking distance. It is also not right by susukino train station which was what we preferred, as susukino can get quite loud and rowdy at night, being the entertainment district. The hotel is within 1-2min walk to the bus stop where you can take a bus to New Chitose Airport - so convenient; a plus point is that the bus is not crowded at this bus stop so there is a high chance you can get on, but will be full by the next bus stop.
Pro - we were fortunate to be assigned a room facing the ferris wheel, so the night view is beautiful.
Con - for a 4 star hotel, it felt interesting that guests have to take their own supplies of bathroom supplies (toothbrush, Comb, cotton bud etc) at the level 1 lobby.
Con - their blanket is shockingly small (width wise) for a hotel bed; the first time I've seen such a small blanket relative to its bed size.
Con - the air con is quite loud 24/7.
Neither a pro nor con for us - housekeeping is not done daily. On days when there is no housekeeping, the hotel would still provide clean towels by your door, and if you require more water, the hotel would also provide.
Overall, we experienced pleasant and helpful staff service, contrary to what some other reviewers...
