Mogura Ramen — Restaurant in Sapporo

Classic Ramen place, small shop one man show. Great service from the cook, smiling and even helping us to take a group photo. He also offered English menu and that helped us a lot.

The miso butter corn ramen was delicious and so filling. We enjoyed watching him cook and love the ambiance. Though it can be uncomfortable because of the big fire coming out from his stove. And if we stayed there long enough, we probably would smelled like ramen too.

But what was he busy frying when what we have ordered are ramen?

Turned out that he fried the bean sprouts before adding it into the broth and ramen.

When we reached there about 1.50pm on Friday, there was no queue. Inside the shop probably has less than 15 seats. We were lucky to have enough seats for 4 of us.

Definitely would recommend anyone to try...

First meal I had upon landing in Sapporo in July, right at the front of the famous “Ramen Street (ラーメン横町).” Good price for the dumplings (textbook juicy) and scallop ramen (filling and highly recommend), as well as genial boss, if you do not mind sitting a bit closer with other diners.

ร้านราเมงที่อยู่ใต้ดินตรงแถวๆแยก susukino ลักษณะของร้านดูทรงเก่าแก่มีมนต์ขลัง คนญี่ปุ่นเข้ามากินกันเยอะ เลยรู้สึกว่าน่าจะเป็ยร้านสไตล์ local ที่ตามหา

ที่นั่งจะมีแต่เคาท์เตอร์บาร์ล้อมรอบครัว ทำให้เราสามารถมองเห็นพ่อครัวทำอาหารได้ตลอด ร้านเก่าๆหน่อย มีลายเซ็นต์คนดังเต็มกำแพงไปหมด มีคุณลุงคนนึงสามารถสื่อสารอังกฤษได้นิดหน่อย และมีเมนูภาษาอังกฤษค่ะ

เมนูมีแค่ราเมงและเกี๊ยวซ่า ถ้ามา hokkaido ควรลองเมนูขึ้นชื่อคือ butter corn ramen ค่ะ เจอได้แทบทุกร้านราเมงที่นี่เลย ขึ้นอยู่กับว่าเราจะเลือกซุปเป็น salt, miso ส่วนตัวเราคิดว่า salt ดีกว่าค่ะ เค็มน้อยกว่า กินง่ายกว่า

butter corn ramen ของที่นี่ชามใหญ่มากกกกก เส้นต้มมาดีไม่แข็งไม่นิ่มเกิน เป็นเส้นที่มีความหงิกๆงอๆนิดๆเหมือนผมลอนคลายตัว 5555 ซุปดีไม่เค็มมากไป หมูให้มาเยอะมาก กินจนจุก ส่วนเกี๊ยวซ่าไส้ด้านในหมูชุ่มน้ำไม่แห้งเลย อร่อยค่ะ
