The broth of the basic miso ramen was delicious and rich, with a bit of spice to it. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the pork was so tender it was falling apart. The addition of the bamboo and onion tied it all together. Cheap at ¥780 a bowl. My only regret was not getting a bigger portion....

The absolute best miso ramen restaurant in Japan. I've been to 16 different prefectures and tried ramen everywhere. This was the best miso ramen you can get. Unpretentious, rich and full. Make sure you get extra egg. I will come here until I get old and my eyes turn brown.

Good but not great ramen - very traditional. Be warned - this location is not a normal restaurant. They let in only one person at a time, you don’t sit with your group, no kids allowed, talking is discouraged, and you must wear a mask until your food...
