We spotted this place while wandering the streets of Sapporo and thought we’d give it a try.

No English menu, but a bit of broken English and Japanese, supported by smartphone translators, and we had a delicious meal - including some great local produce, and pleasant French red wines.

The staff were friendly, patient and lovely.

Reasonably priced for the quality. Well worth a try for something different from usual...

Absolute GEM of a place. I highly recommend the appetiser tasting plate - couldn't decide which dish I loved most. Fine dining level of food and attentiveness in a small, cosy restaurant! Popped in for dinner without a reservation, but managed to get seats, luckily. Be warned: menus are only in Japanese.
