The cafe master spoke English! I was so surprised. There are lots of different beans to choose from for your cup of coffee, and then menu thoroughly describes their tastes. You also can choose if you’d like your coffee in a porcelain cup, or handmade pottery. If you select the pottery, the staff will explain the origins of your cup to you. It was nice to drink coffee in a pottery mug like in America. Exceptionally friendly and warm service in both English and Japanese and the coffee was fragrant and really enjoyable. Cafe Mamebou is a hidden gem for coffee lovers. Their black coffee was robust yet smooth, carrying a depth of flavor that’s both invigorating and comforting.
