It’s my third time to take a trip to Japan, but it’s the first time to travel in Takamatsu city. After taking a visit to Shodoshima and coming back to the downtown Takamatsu, it’s nearly 10 pm. I was hungry and walking to find a niece restaurant with some unique and special features to take some food. Finally, this restaurant named Noodle of Sacred Dragon attracted my attention. I stepped into the restaurant. The owner of this restaurant, a very nice middle aged gentleman with smiling face, greeted me in Japanese way, and led me to the seat. I ordered the noodles and the fried dumplings! I tried Japanese noodle ( Udon, Soba, Ramen) in many different places including some cities in Japan. But that service of noodles in that night was very specially delicious! Although there were some other customers taking food there, I couldn’t help taking with the owner about the food, he told me his experience in many different places including the world. He is a good man dedicated to the making of the wonderful food serving the customer! The day after that day, I went to the restaurant again and had the same order of food! This experience gave me good memories of this...
Read moreThe ramen I had for dinner tonight was absolutely delicious. The broth was richly savory, but not overly oily. The portion size was just right - filling without being too much. But the real standout was the friendly and attentive ramen chef. He greeted us warmly in mandarin and english. Overall, it was a fantastic ramen experience...
I was very dissatisfied with the dinner service. When I entered the restaurant, I was not provided with a towel, and the staff’s attitude was not very welcoming. Later, when a Japanese middle-aged man arrived at the table next to me, he was warmly offered a towel with a polite “Please use this.” It felt like discrimination against foreign tourists, which left me feeling disappointed. I had chosen this restaurant for my first meal after arriving because I heard on Xiaohongshu (REDNote) that the owner was very friendly, but the experience turned out to be a big letdown. The staff member who served me...
