Amazing hospitality, amazing food, amazing experience.

Here, you sit shoulder to shoulder with your neighbours at a bar, and on top of menu items, you get to choose side dishes of the day. Had a spectacular potato salad. Ordered pork miso soup - a must get item at the shop, almost everyone had it. And their katsuo bonito was stellar. Went back the next night and had the same miso soup, and got their seared beef sashimi which was also good. If you're in Takamatsu and you are finally bored of sanuki udon, this is the place to go...

Food was absolutely fantastic! Best food we've had in Japan after travelling for 2 weeks. By far the most authentic experience we've had. 👌❤️❤️

Lovely lady greeted us! Her English is very good so don't worry about that. She is very accomodating and will give you very good recommendations!!!

We went for the Karage(deep fried chicken), Red snapper fish, miso set menu with pork and the seared beef with ponsu sauce... Delicious side dishes are a must...

Basically you usually order one miso set dish and it comes with rice and some pickles. On top of that you can look at the range of side dishes they have available there and pick what you like for around 300-600¥ depending on the dish.

English menus are available but you need to ask. Very popular but they're very accommodating...

Must go place. Amazing miso soup and small dishes. Tried potato salad, squid, liver with quail eggs, karaage and soft roe (milt). They have English menu and staff was super friendly. Local place run like a family business. Really affordable too.
