Warajiro — Restaurant in Takamatsu

This small izakaya (Japanese tapas) was a pleasant surprise. There was a good variety of food on the menu, including vegetarian and local options, the service was good and (shock!) the restraint was mostly free of cigarette smoke. This place has a classic Showa-era feeling, and is a welcoming izakaya with tablet-based ordering.

Standout dishes were the large chicken drumstick, and the sashimi moriawase was also pretty good. Wasn’t too impressed by the yakitori nor the udon. Jumbo size beer was delicious.
