No Name Coffee — Restaurant in Takayama

We came here on our last morning in Takayama, and ordered the cafe latte, Hida peach juice and basque cheesecake. The coffee was amazing - I've missed strong coffee while being away from Australia so this was wonderful. The peach juice was refreshing, and the basque cheesecake was delicious - the addition of salt as per the recommendation from the staff member worked really well with the creamy taste. The vibe of the cafe is very relaxing and friendly. The artwork of the solo exhibition was also really cool, I got a gacha sticker to keep as a souvenir.

We randomly visited this cafe (a hidden gem if I could say it) simply because all other restaurants nearby were closed because it was outside lunch and dinner hours. It's one of the best choices we did in Takayama. We ordered caffe latte, brownies, chocolate chunk cookies, waffel and caramel macchiato. All tasted perfect. 2 thumbs up.
