千成 — Restaurant in Tanabe

Had a great meal here the night before heading out to do the Kumano Kodo. Many other restaurants that we tried to go to were full (or at least claimed to be I suspect when they realised we didn't speak Japanese) or outright said they don't speak English and thus denied us. Here, I got the same vibe initially, but perhaps thanks to my very limited Japanese, they gave us a seat. We had a delicious meal and they were really nice and friendly despite the language barrier. Perhaps they had previous poor experiences with non-Japanese speaking guests, but I only have good things to say!
