This old style Japanese Cafe is right next to Tanabe station. No English menus or speaking staff. They have pizza toast or waffle set meals with a drink.
There are a variety of coffee beans on display, but they all look fairly old. There is a non smoking area, but it doesn't save you from the smoke that whiffs over from the smoking area and the shop owner himself. Not recommended for families.
