Bistro VALLEY — Restaurant in Tanabe

We stumbled on this little spot on a quiet night in Tanabe when not much seemed open. The staff was so friendly and fit us in at the bar, even though I think they were finishing the last of the dinner service. Even more graciously, they put together a vegetarian risotto for me (not on the menu). My partner had spring rolls and roast beef - and we were so impressed with every dish! The staff didn't speak English, but were so kind and friendly and we got by fine with Google translate. 知人からすすめられて、一度行ってみたかったお店にやっと伺えました。カウンターを中心に10名ほどでいっぱいになるこじんまりしたお店ですが、お食事はどれもとてもとても美味しくて大満足でした。

もりだくさんの前菜からはじまり、桃と生ハムのサラダ、焼いたイサキにラタトゥイユソースをかけたもの、スペアリブなどいろいろいただきましたがいずれも丁寧にお仕事された一皿で、素材の味が生かされた味わいで、これはもっと早く来ればよかったなあと思いました。
