Review for % Arabica Tokyo
I was so excited to finally try % Arabica in Tokyo, as Iāve always enjoyed their coffee in different locations around the world. I was looking forward to the experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing.
To my surprise, they didnāt have Spanish Latte on the menu, even though itās available at % Arabica branches in the Middle East and Europe, including London. Instead, they had a similar drink, but with a much smaller amount of syrup.
I politely asked if they could add extra syrup to match the taste Iām used to, but they refused, stating that it would go against their āJapanese brand standardsā and that they couldnāt deviate from their official coffee preparation methods.
Honestly, this response shocked me. How much would it really affect the brand if they simply added more syrup upon request? Peopleās preferences varyāsome like their coffee with less sugar, while others prefer it sweeter. A global brand should be more adaptable to different tastes instead of strictly sticking to rigid standards.
This experience has completely put me off from visiting their Tokyo branches again. I wouldnāt want to go through this hassle a second timeāor worse, have to bring my own syrup just to enjoy my coffee the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe coffee and atmosphere were pleasant. However please take care when going through the door from the cafe to the outdoor seating. There are metal parts sticking out of the wall in the left side of the door and they are not labeled or marked as dangerous. A member of our party bumped her head on it today after a staff member held the door ajar for her. He saw that she bumped her head and then ran off without checking if she was alright even though he saw that she bumped her head and spilt the drinks. When I told him the metal was dangerous he muttered āsumimasenā under his breath and wouldnāt look at me. I believe this building style is not a fault of the cafe but it should definitely be cushioned or labeled more clearly so no one else has an accident. Be careful if you are over 178cm tall We have returned home with a big bruise on her head and a headache. I wish I had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn Japan, coffee time is a noteworthy and intricate experience. One of the reasons behind the high valuation of coffee chains is the amalgamation of high-quality service by dedicated crew members, skilled baristas, and competent sales personnel.
Moreover, the market size in the country is vast and accommodates specific needs with ease. In contrast, the availability of suitable locations for corporate needs at competitive prices makes the country an ideal place to invest in coffee chains.
