I’ve eaten a lot of soba, and some have been excellent. But Sobamae Yamato is the very best soba yet. The adjective to describe everything i ate is “purity”. From the broth to the noodles, from the tofu appetizer to the tempura — everything was cooked just right. Nothing too grandiose or for social media. But not too purist or for enthusiasts only. 初めての訪問。 鮭ハラス焼き、筍と蛤の手巻き、濃厚胡麻つけそばと、新メニューなのかな？！（スミマセン色々と調べましたが出てきませんでした）焼豚葱のお蕎麦?!を注文しました。

・鮭ハラス…口の中で溶ろけ大根おろしと良く合い美味しかったです

・筍と蛤の手巻き…小さいと想像していたよりも小さかったです

・濃厚胡麻つけそば…とても美味しいです。付け合わせの辣油をかけるとさらに美味しいですが、濃厚なだけあり後半少し重くなりました

・焼豚と葱のお蕎麦…胡麻油が効いていて凄く美味しい。焼豚、葱の他にきゅうりがアクセントとなっていて、真夏に食べたいお蕎麦でした

日曜日の20時過ぎは１組待ったほどで入れました。

スタッフの方々は多国籍で活気があるように感じました。

夏にまだあれば、焼豚と葱のお蕎麦食べに来たいです。 -ご馳走様でした-

First visit. I ordered grilled salmon belly, hand rolls with bamboo shoots and clams, and rich sesame dipping soba, which might be a new menu item?! (I’m sorry, I researched a lot but couldn’t find it.) I also got soba with roasted pork and green onions?!

Salmon belly… It melted in my mouth and paired well with the grated daikon; it was delicious.

Hand rolls with bamboo shoots and clams… They were smaller than I imagined.

Rich sesame dipping soba… Very tasty. Adding the chili oil on the side made it even better, but it got a bit heavy towards the end due to its richness.

Soba with roasted pork and green onions… The sesame oil was prominent and incredibly delicious. The cucumber added a nice touch, making it a perfect soba for summer.

On Sunday, around 8 PM, I was able to get in after waiting for just one group.

The staff seemed to be from various countries and were very lively.

If it’s still available in summer, I’d love to come back for the soba with roasted pork and green onions. Thank you...

Staff speaks English so there’s no problem communicating. Tempura lunch menu portion is huge and very tasty.
